Isabelle + Nick | 02.01.20 | Moana Surfrider | Central Union Church

Isabelle + Nick flew in from California for their wedding day which began at the beautiful Moana Surfrider Hotel. The white balcony was stunning and the perfect place for us to capture the details of the day. Passion Roots created stunning bouquets for Isabelle and her girls which sported stunning blush and white tones using Anthuriums, Orchids, and Protea. Nick wore a classic black tuxedo and bowtie for the occasion and Isabelle slipped in to a form fitting lace gown with the help of her bridesmaids. Her mommy had the honor of putting on her veil—the finishing touch! From here it was time to make our way to the beautiful Central Union Church where they’d share a lovely ceremony! Their officiant incorporated parts of their love story in to her words. They said ‘I do’ and slipped wedding bands on to each others fingers before sharing their very first kiss as husband and wife! We got the opportunity to explore the church and capture stunning photos in the place they became husband and wife. After this we went to Kapiolani Park to capture photos of their entourage. As Isabelle realized her shoes were sinking in to the ground Nick scooped her up and carried her to the spot which was ridiculously cute! From here we made our way back to the Moana Surfrider. Since family is such an important thing to Isabelle and Nick they requested to take some time out to shoot with their families. We posed them in the lobby as if they were royalty and loved how the photos turned out! Now, it was time for their reception and when we walked in to the ballroom our hearts skipped a beat! The HUGE 4 foot tall tropical foliage arrangements were sitting pretty throughout the room and we couldn’t help but exclaim “OMG, they’re trees!” haha. We had lots of fun capturing all the stunning details and then it was time for their grand entrance. They shared an amazing choreographed first dance and their guests cheered! When we talked to them about their wedding they specifically asked us to be there for their dance party and it was awesome! DJ Tony So gathered everyone on to the dance floor and had them shine their flashlights around the couple which felt like a scene from a movie. They enjoyed the rest of the evening to the fullest dancing the night away!
