BYODO-IN TEMPLE

BYODO-IN TEMPLE

The Byodo-In Temple, located in Valley of the Temples Memorial Park, is one of our favorite locations to go to whenever we have new equipment that we want to test, or just to find somewhere serene.  The Byodo-In Temple is actually a scaled replica of a temple in Uji, Japan.

Glowing, Golden Amida
This temple is also home to a Buddha named Amida that is covered in gold leaf which makes it unique to the entire world!
There is so much to see in such a small location.  Here are some favorite photos from this shoot:

The koi gathering to be fed by visitors.
We would love to have an engagement session in this location one day!  I can already think of so many unique ideas.  Here is Melissa demonstrating the beautiful background this tranquil location can provide.
